Incamisana, Peru.

WPI studied the Incamisana water temple area that is part of the Ollantaytambo archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of Peru.  Incamisana is a beautifully executed system of terraces, cliff carvings, fountains and channels for religious ceremonies and offerings focused on water.  WPI studies of the Incamisana hydraulic system and its mountain water supply were assisted by a team from the University of Virginia.  WPI wrote a book on this site for ASCE Press based on the findings and data collected during four field trips.
